Description:

Grow Boston Greener (GBG) is a collaborative effort of the City of Boston and its partners in the Boston’s Urban Forest Coalition (BUFC) to increase the urban tree canopy cover in the city by planting 100,000 trees by 2020. As part of the GBG campaign, 1,000 trees will be planted throughout Boston's neighborhoods by end of April 2008. If you are interested in getting a free tree to plant, come to one of 2 Dorchester tree workshops in April [see calendar] or contact us ASAP. read more »
